A story to keep your curiosity peaked to want to know more about Nora as to who she really is and what she is capable of doing. You could feel the struggles she was dealing with. The other characters added more intrigue to know their pasts within the story as well. I received a free copy of this book and was given the option of whether or not to post a review. Island of Bones (The Djinn Kingdom Book 2) by LJ Andrews continues the great series but could be read as a stand alone. There is a lot of action, adventure, some suspense, touch of romance, and fantasy in this exciting story. I liked it even better than the first. As a prisoner on a pirate ship, Nova is forced to help the creepy captain get what he needs. He may know about her magical dagger but he doesn't know about her true self. It is really exciting and there are lots of secrets unveiled in the story that are so cool. I really loved this story. I was given this story to read and the review was voluntary.

Wow, Ms Andrews is one heck of a storyteller. Island of Bones is the 2nd book in The Djinn Kingdom Series and it is even better than the Pirate Vengeance. I could almost feel the movement of the ship on the waves. I was totally lost in the story of Nova and the revelation of her parents' secrets that they had been hiding from her. The book is well written and the story line is exciting and suspenseful. You never know what might happen on the next page. I can't wait to see what happens next to Nova, Kale and all the other characters.

Island of Bones is book two in the Djinn Kingdom series. It is written in 2nd person, from Nova's point of view, and continues the story from Pirate's Vengeance. The book is well written, and except for a few minor typos and one mistake (a cutlass that is said to be lost suddenly being back) there are no major problems with the plot or writing. The flow of the story is smooth and fast paced, which makes for easy and enjoyable reading.
This book reveals more about Nova, her parents and things they have been hiding. I quite enjoyed reading this one, and found myself liking it even more than the previous book. It doesn't have a cliffhanger ending, but does leave you wanting more. I'm now looking forward to reading what will happen to everyone in the next installment.
LJ Andrews does not disappoint. Yet another good one that I couldn't put down.
Nov's story is captivating, exciting and clean! I would encourage young readers to dive into this series. They will not be disappointed
Now if that didn't get your attention, lol. This continues on Nova's journey on finding items needed to find the sacred temple. With help from those she hesitantly trust, she's in for a whirl wind of a time.
With every page I read from author L.J. Andrews and her epic pirate world I’m drawn in deeper. Well written, intricately developed characters you can invest heavily in and the story line with its intricate twists and surprises. I look forward to reading Band of Shadows and further books in the series.
